Hello, and welcome to The Emerald Escape in Destin, FL! We are so thrilled you’re here and can’t wait for you and your family to experience Destin and Sandpiper Cove the way we do.

Emerald Escape started in the Spring of 2021, but has been a lifetime in the making for its owners, Lauren and Grant. Lauren spent her entire childhood visiting Destin with her family. Many of her childhood memories include playing with her brother on the Sandpiper Cove 9-hole golf course, catching hermit crabs near the docks, or building drizzle sand castles with her dad on the beach. Grant also spent time as a child in Destin with vivid memories of his older brothers throwing him in the waves, an unbelievable amount of shrimp from Sextons, and an amazing dinner at The Back Porch. We met attending Texas A&M, married in 2018 and quickly began building memories in Destin as well. Destin has been coined our “Happy Place”, where the hustle and bustle of our engineering careers can be forgotten for a few days. Our newly formed family has already made countless memories in Destin, and know there will be countless more in the years to come.

In creating the concept for The Emerald Escape, we wanted our model to revolve around two words: Family & Memories. We want our guests to experience the same precious time with family as we do, creating memories along the way that will last a lifetime. From relaxing on the sugar-white beaches, to being on the water, to an unforgettable dinner at Louisiana Lagniappe, you're certain to leave Destin longing for your next return trip! When you visit us, we will treat you like our own family and hopefully create memories together in this beautiful Emerald Coast town that so many have grown to love.
